Harriett Allen Weymon - 2nd Vice President
​Standing Committee Website Chair

The Second Vice-President shall shall perform the duties of the President in the absence of the President and 1st Vice-President.  The 2nd Vice-President shall serve as the Chairperson of the Website and Yearbook Committee.  ​

Harriett became a member of the Home and Garden Club in 2016 after she began growing vegetables in her backyard.   She and her husband moved to Meadows Place in 1983 and raised a family of three. 

​She is a graduate of Alabama State University where she majored in Computer Information Systems, with a minor in Office Administration.  She is a retired information systems programmer analyst formerly employed at Gulf Oil, Texaco, and Chevron corporations.   In retirement Harriett was employed part-time as a Caregiver for Home Instead Senior Care, and a studio guide for Weight Watchers International.
 
​In addition to the Meadows Home and Garden Club, Harriett is a member of the Alabama State University Houston Metro Alumni Chapter, Notre Dame Club of Houston and GirlTrek, a nationwide organization seeking to improve the health outcomes of  black Women by walking.  She also volunteered as a Troop Co-Leader, Cookie Mom, and Service Unit Webmaster during her daughter's ten years in Girl Scouts.
