Everyone with an interest in gardening and/or home maintenance and improvement is invited to visit or join our club.
Our meetings are on the second Tuesday of each month from September through May, beginning at 7:00 PM at the Meadows Place Discovery & Nature Center. Our meetings begin with a program open to everyone in the Community. Typical program topics include native plants, container gardening, yard art, landscaping, lawn care, composting, organic gardening, water conservation, and home improvement and maintenance. Following the presentation, refreshments are provided after which guests are free to leave or stay for the business meeting that follows.
Other activities for members include a Christmas Dinner, an "International Dinner" in February, a monthly " lunch bunch" at restaurants in the area, organized trips to various places of horticultural interest, and visits to private gardens.
Community Service Projects
